Former Enterprise High School standout baseball player Santiago “Santi” Garcia decided to transfer to the University of Houston for his senior season this year as he continues to chase his dreams on the diamond.

Dain Grimes, a senior at Enterprise High School, participated in the AHSAA State Heptathlon and Decathlon meet last week hosted by Hoover High School and finished seventh in a field of 62 athletes. Grimes scored a total of 5,379 points.

The 2022 Enterprise Wildcat baseball team celebrate the end of the season with a banquet in the Fellowship Hall of Hillcrest Baptist Church on Tuesday, May 17.

The Enterprise Lady Cats played in the central division of the 7A state tournament Thursday, May 12, and fell out of competition in two games losing the first game to Fairhope 2-0 and the second game to Prattville 2-1. 

The Enterprise boys soccer team defeated Trinity Presbyterian 2-1 on Thursday, April 21. The two teams were tied up 0-0 at the half before the Cats broke the tie with a goal by Stephane Pejon at the 14:21 mark of the second half. 

Former Enterprise Wildcat Brendan Donovan got the call last week all minor league baseball players hope for–the St. Louis Cardinals brought him up to The Show on Monday, April 25.

The 2021-22 Enterprise High School 7A championship basketball team was honored Tuesday, April 19, with a parade from the Coffee County Courthouse to Enterprise City Hall. 

The Enterprise Lady Cats won the area championship April 13 with a 17-2 win over Jeff Davis. Georgia Lessmann helped secure the win with a four-hit game getting singles in the first, second and fourth innings while hitting a double in the fourth inning.

The Enterprise High School Track and Field team hosted the Wiregrass Invite on Friday, April 15 and the Wildcats came in first in the meet with a score of 291.50 for the girls and 309 for the boys.

The Enterprise football team 2022 schedule has been released with newcomers from the recent alignment of 7A Region 2. Jeff Davis, Opelika and Robert E. Lee have been added to the tough region for the 2022-24 seasons which already included Auburn, Central-Phenix City, Dothan, Enterprise, Prattville and Smith Station.

The Enterprise Wildcat boys golf team finished second out of eight teams in the second annual Husky Match-Play Invitational hosted by Hewitt-Trussville High School on Monday, March 28 at the Grayson Valley Country Club in Trussville.

Enterprise High School hosted the fourth Enterprise Invite on Friday, March 25 with 14 teams participating including Abbeville, Barbour County High, Benjamin Russell, Brantley, Enterprise, Highland Home, Marengo, New Brockton, Northside Methodist, Opp, Pike County, Pleasant Home, Providence Christian and Red Level.

The Enterprise High School boys golf team won the Husky Invitational hosted by Helena High School and played at the Robert Trent Jones Oxmoor Valley Ridge course in Hoover on March 14.
