The Enterprise Lady Cats cruised to an easy victory over Dothan on April 19 winning 15-2 in five innings. The Lady Cats plated 13 runs in the first two innings to put the Lady Wolves out of contention.

Jamie Jackson led Enterprise on the mound pitching a complete game giving up two runs on seven hits with three strikeouts.

Macy Robinette had the hot bat against Dothan going 2-for-4 with a triple scoring three runs. Emma Faulk went 2-for-3 with a double and 2 RBIs, Skylar Frey went 2-for-3 scoring one run and 2 RBIs, Savannah Mitten went 1-for-3 scoring two runs and 2 RBIs, and Kinley Hutto went 1-for-2 scoring two runs.

Enterprise had 12 hits and one error in the game while Dothan had seven hits and five errors.

Enterprise 11, Slocomb 3

The Lady Cats were tied 3-3 with the Lady Red Tops until the bottom of the sixth inning when the bats came alive and Enterprise defeated Slocomb 11-3 on Thursday, April 21. The three seniors on the team, Mitten, Faulk and Kayli Sheffield, were honored before the game and finished the last regular home game in winning fashion.

Faulk started off the inning with a double but the big play of the inning was a grand slam by Taylor Danford after Slocomb had issued three walks in a row. Faulk hit another double in the inning before it was over.

Frey pitched a complete game giving up three runs on five hits with 11 strikeouts.

Danford led the Lady Cats at the plate going 3-for-3 with a double and a home run scoring two runs and 4 RBIs. Faulk was not far behind going 3-for-4 with two doubles and a triple and 2 RBIs. Georgia Lessmann went 2-for-4 scoring one run and 2 RBIs while Hutto went 2-for-4 scoring two runs and 1 RBI.

Enterprise had 11 hits in the game and three errors while Slocomb had five hits and two errors.

The Lady Cats will finish the regular season on the road against Rehobeth and Russell County before hosting the area tournament on May 3 and 5. Enterprise will face off as the No. 1 seed against the No. 4 seed Jeff Davis at noon on May 3. The winner of that game will play the winner of the No. 2 seed Prattville vs. No. 3 seed Dothan at 6 p.m. on May 3.
