The Enterprise boys soccer team defeated Trinity Presbyterian 2-1 on Thursday, April 21. The two teams were tied up 0-0 at the half before the Cats broke the tie with a goal by Stephane Pejon at the 14:21 mark of the second half. With 1:40 left in the match, Minjae Kim scored a goal off an assist by Drew Suter and the Wildcats managed to hold on for the shutout.
Goalkeeper Jonah Sidanycz recorded 10 saves in the match. EHS had 16 shots on goal while Trinity had 19 shots on goal.
Fairhope 3, Enterprise 2
On Tuesday, April 19, Enterprise fell in a close match to Fairhope 3-2. Diego Sammur scored the first goal for the Cats at the 15:56 mark of the first half. The second goal came at the 15:51 mark of the second half by Jackson Odom.
Sidanycz recorded 11 saves in the match. Enterprise only had four shots on goal to Fairhope’s 19 shots on goal.
