Football, youth cheerleading registration ongoing

The Daleville Parks and Recreation Department is currently holding registration for football and cheerleading this fall. Flag football is for ages 5-6, Mini-Mites for ages 7-8, Termites for ages 9-10 and Pee Wee for ages 11-12. The deadline for registration is July 15. Registration for youth cheerleading is also ongoing. Cheerleaders will be needed for Flag, Mini-Mites, Termites and Pee Wee football. Registration is $45 for ages 5-12. Enterprise State Community College is offering an All Skills Volleyball Camp June 21-22. Rising fourth-seventh grade students will camp from 9 a.m.-noon and rising eighth-12th grade students will camp from 1-4 p.m. Cost is $70 and includes a T-shirt. EHS volleyball team to host camp

The Enterprise High School volleyball team will host a mini-cats volleyball summer camp on July 25-28 from 8-11 a.m. each day for girls K-8th grade. Cost of the camp is $60 and includes a camp shirt. Boys, girls basketball camp set for ESCC

Enterprise State Community College will host a camp from June 13-16 to teach boys and girls ages seven-12 about defense, passing, shooting and teamwork. The cost is $85 and includes a T-shirt. Registration upcoming for youth football

Enterprise Parks and Recreation Department will hold registration for Youth Football from in July. Registration will be online and in-person at the M.N. Jug Brown Recreation Center located on East Lee Street. 

EPRD offers a travel tackle league for ages 7-12 and a flag league for ages 5-12. League ages are 5 through 12. Player must be 5 before Sept. 1 of the current year.  Birth certificates will be required at time of registration unless one is already on file.

Practices and games take place Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Tackle games will only be played on Saturdays. The season will begin mid-September and end early November.

Trojan Tour coming to Enterprise

Trojan fans should make plans to join up for the Trojan Tour as they visit Enterprise on Tuesday, June 21, at 6 p.m. at Shane’s Rib Shack.

The 10th annual Trojan Tour hits the road this spring and summer with 10 stops across Alabama and the Florida Panhandle. Each Trojan Tour stop will feature Director of Athletics Brent Jones and football head coach Jon Sumrall. Men’s basketball head coach Scott Cross and women’s basketball head coach Chanda Rigby plus various other Troy coaches and administrators will be featured across Trojan Tour as well.
