The Enterprise High School Track and Field team hosted the Wiregrass Invite on Friday, April 15 and the Wildcats came in first in the meet with a score of 291.50 for the girls and 309 for the boys. Six other schools competed including Carroll, Daleville, Dothan, Geneva County, Headland and Providence Christian. The top 10 scores for Enterprise are as follows:
In the girls 100-meter dash, Aniyah Kitt won first place in 12.04, Jaziya Watkins was second in 12.56, Bianca Gray was third in 12.87, Ava Barkley was fifth in 13.21, A’mirah Baldwin was sixth in 13.32 and Abby Shipp was eighth in 13.37.
In the girls 200-meter run, Kitt finished first in 25.01, Watkins was second in 26.26, Baldwin was third in 27.44, Barkley was sixth in 28.14 and Shipp was seventh in 28.18.
In the girls 400-meter dash, Shaniyah Green finished second in 1:04.50, Isabella Ming finished third in 1:04.77, Lauren Rodgers was fourth in 1:04.80, Shipp was fifth in 1:05.12, Danika Alvarado was sixth in 1:05.85 and Trinity McKnight was ninth in 1:07.48.
In the girls 800-meter run, Emma McCrea finished first in 2:37.23, Ammarie Jenkins finished fourth in 2:39,31, Kamryn Wile was fifth in 2:39.56, Natalie Prater was seventh in 2:42.98, Hanna Nichols was eighth in 2:46.64 and Lilly Anne Windham was ninth in 3:03.78.
In the girls 1600-meter run, Wile finished second in 6:07.31, Jenkins was third in 6:08.81, Windham was eighth in 6:52.93 and Walker was ninth in 7:07.59.
In the girls 3200-meter run, McCrea finished first in 12:67.00.
In the girls 100-meter hurdles, Amariia Leggett finished second in 17.48, Mariam Bolaji finished fourth in 19.00, Nijah Brady finished sixth in 20.12, Sadie Triplett finished ninth in 21.27 and Gianna Roca finished 10th in 21.65.
In the girls 300-meter hurdles low, Leggett finished second in 52.88, Elyce Walker finished fifth in 55.40, Brady was ninth in 57.24 and Roca was 10th in 1:00.96.
In the girls 4x100-meter relay, Enterprise “A” team of Watkins, Kitt, Joye Anderson and Baldwin finished first in 49.00 and Enterprise “B” team of Bianca Gray, Jamesha Howard, Deshauia Burger and Bolaji finished second in 50.84.
In the girls 4x400-meter relay, Enterprise “A” team of Baldwin, Isabella Ming, Trinity McKnight and Shaniyah Green finished second in 4:28.52.
In the girls shot put, Jaida Gosha finished second with a mark of 34’2”, Sarah Amos was sixth with a 32’7”, Raven Jump was seventh with a 29’5” and Chanel Hicks was ninth with a 28’3”.
In the girls discus throw, Jazalyn Knight finished third with a mark of 88’6”, Amos was fourth with an 85’6”, Jump was eighth with a 73’6” and Kaela Tyson was 10th with a 65’3”.
In the javelin throw, Knight finished second with a mark of 83’11”, Rasheeda Moreland was third with a 79’4”, Jayde Pena was fifth with a 69’11” and Hicks was sixth with a 54’7”.
In the girls pole vault, Aurielle Harvey finished first with a vault of 6’6”.
In the girls long jump, Anderson finished second with a jump of 16’4”, Bolaji was third with a 16’2”, Barkley was fourth with a 15’11”, Leggett was sixth with a 15’6”, Patience Hill was eighth with a 14’11”, and Jamilla Ballew was 10th with a 14’5”.
In the girls triple jump, Ballew finished first with a jump of 29’8 ½”, Hill was fourth with a 28’3” and Anna Kathryn Walker was seventh with a 27’10”.
In the girls high jump, Jamesha Howard finished first with a mark of 4’10” and Deshauia Burger finished fifth with a 4’4”.
In the boys 100-meter dash, Malachi Rich finished fourth in 11.45, Dakaine Leonard was fifth in 11.49, Tae Williams was seventh in 11.51, Kendrett Green tied for seventh in 11.51 and Tomar Hobdy was ninth in 11.52.
In the boys 200-meter run, Eran Foye finished second in 23.37, Leonard was fifth in 24.00 and Erys Nalls was seventh in 24.46.
In the boys 400-meter dash, Isaac Alba finished fourth in 55.74 and Brayson Richard was eight in 57.18.
In the boys 800-meter run, Brett Tessay finished first in 2:05.15, Kristyan DeJesus was seventh in 2:18.96, Jacob Tillery was eighth in 2:19.00, Jace Himes was ninth in 2:23.31 and Malichi Stafford was 10th in 2:24.25.
In the boys 1600-meter run, Tessay finished first in 5:03.24, DeJesus was second in 5:11.51 and Austin Pless was fifth in 5:56.92.
In the boys 3200-meter run, Pless finished first in 13:08.22.
In the boys 110-meter hurdles, Courtney Sanders finished second in 16.71, Donovan Dee was third in 18.99, Brandon Johnson was fourth in 19.03, Colin Bovyer was fifth in 19.05 and Warren Axton was seventh in 19.38.
In the boys 300-meter hurdles intermediate, Christian Stewart finished third in 48.14, Axton was fourth in 49.02, Bovyer was fifth in 49.51 and DeJavon Richardson was sixth in 49.97.
In the boys 4x100-meter relay, Enterprise “A” team of Foye, Hobdy, Quentin Hayes and Green finished first in 43.87, Enterprise “D” team of Dakaine Leonard, Courtney Sanders, Matthew Reed and Jordan Harmon was third in 45.42, Enterprise “B” team of Raymond McGoley, Amare Griffin, Max Faught and Nalls was fourth in 45.70 and Enterprise “C” team of Williams, Jonathan Whitt, Jayden McKinnon and Malichi Rich was sixth in 46.27.
In the boys 4x400-meter relay, Enterprise “A” team of Tessay, Dain Grimes, Foye and Donovan Dee finished second in 3:37.85 and Enterprise “B team of Himes, Griffin, Andrew Purcell and Rich finished fourth in 3:50.07.
In the boys 4x800-meter relay, Enterprise “A” team of Ben Pike, Logan Rae, Zander Quinley and Ethan Roen finished first in 10:55.65.
In the boys shot put, Dezmon Thomas finished first with a mark of 45’7”, Preston Powell was second with a 40’10”, Sam Haglund was third with a 39’9”, Tyler Blackmon was seventh with a 37’7” and Eli Holley was 10th with a 35’0”.
In the boys discus throw, Xavier Henderson finished second with a mark of 113’4”, Powell was sixth with a 106’4” and Matthew Endrihs was ninth with a 97’10”.
In the boys javelin throw, Foye finished third with a ark of 128’7”, Himes was fifth with a 115’10”, Grimes was seventh with a 114’6” and John Parker Mitten was eighth with a 109’2”.
In the boys pole vault, Himes finished first with a 10’9” mark, Hayden Hvarven was second with a 10’0”, Gibson Snell was third with an 8’0” and Conner Dalrymple was fourth with a 7’6”.
In the boys long jump, Grimes finished first with a mark of 22’11”, Hayes was second with a 21’0”, Leonard was third with a 20’11”, Jy’rell Reese was eighth with a 18’6”, Richardson was ninth with a 18’0” and Green was 10th with a 17’6”.
In the boys triple jump, Grimes finished first with a 43’8” mark, Sanders was second with a 41’10”, Hayes was third with a 39’1”, Dee was fourth with a 36’9”, Hughes was fifth with a 36’0”, Chris Ramsey was sixth with a 35’11” and Reese was seventh with a 34’2”.
In the boys high jump, Purcell finished first with a 6’4” mark, Tomorris Green was third with a 5’10” and Warren was fifth with a 5’2”.
In the mixed 4x100-meter relay, Enterprise “A” team finished second in 53.04.
