Antonio Perdices was honored at the Daleville Board of Education meeting Nov. 17 with the presentation of the “Extra Mile” award for service above and beyond the call of duty. “I wish we had a few more like him,” said Daleville Middle School Principal Ted Folsom. “I am proud to work for Daleville City Schools and I go wherever I’m needed,” Perdices, who serves as school custodian, said. “I’m here to do this job whatever it takes.” From left, are Daleville City Schools Superintendent Dr. Lisa Stamps, Perdices and Folsom.
