Wildcat boys soccer blanks Jeff Davis Volunteers twice

The Enterprise High School boys soccer team blanked Jeff Davis twice on Friday, March 4, winning both matches 10-0.

In the first match, EHS was awarded a point at the 32:17 mark of the first half when Jeff Davis bounced the ball into their own goal. That was followed by another goal at the 23:22 mark by Diego Rodriguez, a goal at the 20:40 mark by Minjae Kim assisted by Payton Polidore, a goal at the 20:27 mark by Drew Suter, a goal at the 15:43 mark by Davey Gomez with an assist by Will VonMahland, a goal at the 6:11 mark by Kim off an assist by Dante Buchanan and a goal at the 0:48 mark by Stephane Pejon to close out the first half up 7-0.

The Cats opened the second half with a goal by Drew Suter at the 31:59 mark, another goal by Drew Suter at the 26:59 mark off an assist by Pejon and another goal by Drew Suter at the 25:15 mark to end the match. Suter had four goals all total against Jeff Davis in the first match.

Goalkeeper Jonah Sidanycz held the Volunteers scoreless while Enterprise had 28 shots on goal.

In the second match, Tyler McDaniel scored at the 38:10 mark off an assist by Mateo Lorenzo. The next goal came at the 37:30 mark by Conrad Suter off another assist by Lorenzo followed by a goal at the 36:27 mark by Lorenzo, a goal at the 32:21 mark by Gomez, a goal at the 16:56 mark by Lincoln Lascano and a goal to close out the first half at the 3:48 mark by Robert Suter off an assist by Drew Suter. The Cats led 6-0 at the half.

Enterprise opened the second half with a goal at the 24:28 mark by Drew Suter off an assist by Lorenzo, a goal at the 18:22 mark by Kim off an assist by Gomez, a goal at the 17:40 mark by Lorenzo off an assist by Gomez and a goal at the 16:12 mark by Kim off an assist by Diego Sammur to cost out the match.

Goalkeeper Cody Kirk kept the Volunteers from scoring while Enterprise had 43 shots on goal.
