A layout of the new parking lot being constructed by the City of Enterprise on the corner of E. Lee Street and S. Edwards Street behind the old Yancey Parker’s building in Downtown Enterprise will contain 77 parking spaces and new sidewalks on three sides which will help to alleviate some of the parking issues on the north side of downtown. A topographic survey is underway now with equipment being moved to the site in the next two weeks to prepare the site for base work. Construction is expected to be finished by Thanksgiving, weather permitting.
