SUMMER SIZZLE

H.O.P.E. ministries will have a Back to School Summer Sizzle free giveaway on Saturday, July 24, from 10 a.m.-noon at L&N Auto Detailing on Park Avenue in Enterprise. SUMMER REVIVAL

Johns Chapel AME Church will host a Summer Revival Monday-Wednesday, July 26-28, at 7 p.m. each night.  The guest preacher will be Rev. Elijah Shafah, pastor of Greater St. Paul AME Church in Troy. All COVID-19 health directives will be in place, including wearing masks/face coverings and social distancing while in the building.  You may also join the revival on  Facebook Live via the church’s website johnschapelamec.org; Zoom, and Live on the church›s YouTube Channel (Johns Chapel AME Church);  as well as via 87.9 FM radio accessible in the church parking lot and in the local vicinity of the church. COMMUNITY BIBLE STUDY

The Enterprise Women’s Day Class of Community Bible Study will begin Monday, Aug. 16. We will meet on Mondays from 10 a.m. until noon in the chapel of First Baptist Church on North Main Street in Enterprise. For those who cannot meet in person, a dedicated online Core Group will be offered. We will spend 30 weeks studying 1 and 2 Peter and Revelation. Registration will be offered throughout the class year. At this time, we are building our Children’s Ministry and children will be put on a Waiting List. Once the Children’s Ministry is underway, we will let you know. Please join us as we study God’s Word and learn to apply it to our lives.

CELEBRATE RECOVERY

Celebrate Recovery meets every Tuesday night at the Enterprise First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. It is a Christ-centered recovery group for any issue. We now offer a meal at 5:45 p.m. The Landing for teens will be offered as well as Celebration Place for K-6th grade. A quick check-in process for all ages is done by greeters at the Fellowship Hall entrance. Social distancing will be practiced and wearing a mask while moving around the room is encouraged. A large group meeting will start at 6:25 p.m. and small groups will begin at approximately 7:30 p.m.  Call Denver at (334) 389-3584 to schedule a nursery worker for children under five or for more information.

PARENTS OF ADDICTED LOVED ONES

A free educational support group for parents and families of addicted loved ones will be held each Tuesday at Hillcrest Baptist Church from 6:30-8 p.m. Parking on Watts St., in Room D108 (look for sign). For additional information, call (334) 379-9118. Participants must be 18 years old or over.

CEMETERY UPKEEP
