Enterprise took a 4-0 lead into the fourth inning and managed to hang on for 4-3 win over Prattville on April 12.

The Cats started the first inning after Jack Williams led off with a single bunt, advanced to second on a sacrifice bunt then third on a passed ball, and scored on a single by Drew Shiver.

Enterprise scored three more runs in the bottom of the third with singles by Will Powell and Payton Easterling.

Austin Acreman started the Cats on the mound pitching six innings giving up three runs on two hits with eight strikeouts. Brady Richardson came on to close the win after pitching one inning and giving up no hits and no runs with two strikeouts.

Williams and Powell each went 1-for-3 scoring one run. Powell also had an RBI. Shiver went 1-for-2 scoring one run and one RBI while Noah Loy went 1-for-2 scoring one run.

Enterprise had five hits and one error in the game while Prattville had two hits and one error.

Prattville 4, Enterprise 1

The Wildcats went into the bottom of the fifth tied 1-1 with Prattville before the game got away from them when the Lions scored three runs in the fifth and sixth innings and Prattville won 4-1 on April 14.

Owen Burrow started on the rubber for the Cats pitching five and two-thirds innings giving up four runs on three hits with six strikeouts. Austin Chappell came out of the bullpen to pitch the final one-third of the inning giving up no runs and no hits.

Williams, Shiver, Richardson and Easterling all went 1-for-3 at the plate.

Enterprise had six hits and one error in the game while Prattville had three hits and one error.

Prattville 7, Enterprise 2

Enterprise watched the game slip away early as Prattville scored six runs in the bottom of the first inning and the Cats just couldn’t recover with the Lions winning 7-2 on April 14.

Richardson started on the mound for Enterprise pitching one inning giving up six runs on four hits. Kyle Hakel came on in relief and pitched four innings giving up one run on two hits with five strikeouts. Brady Cavanaugh pitched the final inning with no hits and no runs.

Powell led Enterprise at the plate going 1-for-4 with a double. Richardson went 1-for-3 scoring a run and Tal Sessions went 1-for-3 with 1 RBI.

Enterprise had five hits and five errors in the game while Prattville had six hits and two errors.
