The 2021 South Alabama Nonprofit Summit is a locally-organized professional development for people who serve in the nonprofit sector. The Summit, which will be virtual again this year, is sponsored by the Alabama Association of Nonprofits, Community Foundation of South Alabama, United Way of Southwest Alabama, University of South Alabama Melton Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation, The First (A National Banking Association), and the South Alabama Coalition of Nonprofits. This year’s summit will be held Thursday, July 29, from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Registration is $10 for all four sessions. To register, go to the website at www.SACNP.org

The Enterprise Senior Citizens Center is for anyone 60 years of age or older. There is no fee to participate in the senior center program but donations are welcomed. Art classes are offered every Tuesday from 8 until 10 a.m., and 10 a.m. until noon. On Monday, July 26 “Out to Eat” at San Marcos Mexican Grill on Rucker Boulevard at 4 p.m. If planning to go out to eat please sign up. The Above the Best Silver Chapter of the U.S. Army Warrant Officers Association will be holding its in-person, monthly meeting at 11:45 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 12, at Swartworth Hall, 5302 Outlaw Street, Fort Rucker. A meal will be served. Please observe Fort Rucker COVID protocols. This meeting is open to all warrant officers or those interested in warrant officer issues.
