Former Enterprise High School football coach David Faulkner was hired by Grayson High School in Georgia on March 1 as the school’s new offensive coordinator.
Faulkner returns to the coaching profession with Grayson High School – who just won the Class 7A State Championship in Georgia this past season – after serving two years at Troy University as the Director of Player Personnel and High School Relations in off-the-field role.
Faulkner joined the Trojan staff after resigning from his position at Enterprise following seven years leading the Wildcats. His Enterprise teams boasted a 38-38 record and made the playoffs four of his seven seasons.
Before coming to Enterprise, Faulkner went 28-3 in three years as the head coach at Fairhope. Prior to that he was a successful offensive coordinator at Foley High School – where he coached future NFL star Julio Jones – and Hoover High School. At Hoover, Faulkner was a part of three state championship teams. Faulkner was also an assistant at Prattville.
Faulkner has been a football coach for more than 20 years having started his career at Clarke County High School before becoming the offensive coordinator and then head coach at Alma Bryant.
