Daleville police ask public's assistance

“A rash of breaking and entering vehicles” occurred early Tuesday, June 15, in the city of Daleville.

Daleville Department of Public Safety Director Chief Allen Medley said that police reports have been received in connection with some 20 vehicles from throughout the city that were burglarized in the early morning hours.

“The incidents took place all over the city,” Medley said. “The suspect or suspects targeted vehicles that were unlocked.”

Medley is asking citizens to review their security camera footage from midnight to 5 a.m. June 15 regardless of whether their vehicle was broken into or not. “If you see any suspicious activity please contact Daleville Police Department at (334) 598-4442,” he said.
