Dear Editor:
On the 18th of this month, the government’s funding will run out. It sounds devastating, but is it really? If you received poor service for your hard-earned money, would you use that service again? Let’s look at the service provided by our federal government.
One would be hard pressed to find anything positive the president has done for the country, yet the failures are endless, starting with shutting down our energy independence, not to mention all of the compromising positions he and his family members are in.
The vice president has failed in her main tasking of securing the border but was successful in raising funds for rioters in 2020. The DOJ has failed to protect Americans from real terrorism while profiling and investigating parents. The Department of Transportation has failed to solve the supply chain problems but prioritizes surveillance cameras throughout the country. HHS has failed to secure American borders and flies illegal aliens into our country on secret flights. The Treasury keeps printing money, fueling inflation to the highest in 40 years with no signs of stopping. The Education Department has prioritized Core Racist Training (CRT) over academics.
The House spent four years impeaching a president twice over created hype yet won’t impeach a president for not upholding the oath of office and the Constitution. Congress used the virus to spend trillions of dollars they did not have, much of which was wasted, fraudulent or abused, causing decades of debt for all Americans.
The list goes on, but another point often overlooked is every time Congress passes a bill, an extra pet project gets funded as well.
Call your senators and representative and let them know that you will not reward bad behavior. Tell them to vote against funding the government.
