The high energy prices we are paying are the result of a president who is totally beholden to the radical elements of the Democratic Party. But this should come as no surprise. In September 2019, then-candidate Biden declared war on American energy, promising “I guarantee you, we are going to end fossil fuel, and I am not going to cooperate with them.” It is no coincidence that last week national gas prices hit $4.16, the highest on record.

I joined the Restore Onshore Energy Production Act that would require the Biden administration to immediately resume onshore oil and gas lease sales – in compliance with the law – that he ordered halted on the first day of his presidency. We can’t shoot ourselves in the foot by killing American energy and buying it from overseas.

The Biden Administration is ending Title 42, a successful Trump administration policy that has been used to expel migrants more than 1.7 million times—equal to the population of West Virginia. We are already seeing our border overrun, and this decision is a green light to others considering illegally crossing our border.

It has even been reported that the Biden administration is considering redeploying medical professionals from the Department of Veterans Affairs to the border, robbing our veterans of much-needed care. I ran for Congress and asked to serve on the Veterans Affairs Committee because our veterans are not receiving the care they’ve earned, and these reports outraged me so much that I took to the House floor to speak out against it.

Biden’s Secretary of Veterans Affairs told our committee that he has not heard of this plan, and he later said this plan is not in the works. But you can believe I will continue following this and will do all I can to prevent it from moving forward.

How hard is this administration working to annihilate law and order and our border? The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is even allowing illegal immigrants without identification to use arrest warrants to board domestic flights! I joined a letter calling on the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of the Inspector General to immediately review this disastrous policy.

The Senate has confirmed Biden’s nominee to the Supreme Court. Ketanji Brown-Jackson is the most radical Supreme Court nominee ever considered by the Senate. Her leniency for child sex offenders, support of divisive CRT, and refusal to define a woman make clear she is the latest – and unfortunately most consequential – in a long line of radical and dangerous Biden nominees.

Brown-Jackson even claims to hold no position on natural rights. Our founders were clear that they created our Constitution to protect our God-given natural rights. Any Justice who does not believe in the fundamental underpinnings of our Constitution places all our rights and freedoms in jeopardy.
