VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

• County Line Baptist Church will have a one-day Vacation Bible School on Saturday, June 11, from 12:30-5:30 p.m. called “Yo, Ho, Holy! A Pirate’s Guide to Jesus.” Ages are 4 years old through sixth grade. For more information, call (334) 347-6082 or register online at www.clbconthe.net.

• First Baptist Church Level Plains will be kicking off the summer June 12-16, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. with Vacation Bible School called “Monumental/Celebrating God’s Greatness.”

PENTECOST EXPLOSION

Johns Chapel will host a Pentecost Explosion Weekend on Saturday and Sunday, June 4-5. The theme is “Equipping the Church as an Army to Possess the Nations.”  On Saturday from 5-7 p.m., the feeding of the multitude will be reenacted. A message will be delivered by Rev. Willis N. Huggins, chairperson. There will be free family fun, food and games, and the church’s Clothes Closet will be open to those in need.  Gifted singer Shelia Jackson of Troy will be the guest soloist.  On Sunday at the 10:45 a.m. worship service, everyone is invited to wear red in honor of Pentecost.  FOSTER PARENT SUPPORT GROUP

A Foster Parent Support Group meets the first Tuesday of every month at Hillcrest Baptist Church in the Fellowship Hall from 6-8 p.m. Email [email protected] for more information or to sign up for childcare.

MILITARY SUPPORT GROUP

GRIEF SHARE

GriefShare is taking a break for the summer.  The next meeting will be Aug. 8.

CELEBRATE RECOVERY

Celebrate Recovery meets every Tuesday night at the Enterprise First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. It is a Christ-centered recovery group for any issue. We now offer a meal at 5:45 p.m. The Landing for teens will be offered as well as Celebration Place for K-6th grade. A quick check-in process for all ages is done by greeters at the Fellowship Hall entrance. Social distancing will be practiced and wearing a mask while moving around the room is encouraged. A large group meeting will start at 6:25 p.m. and small groups will begin at approximately 7:30 p.m. Call Denver at (334) 389-3584 to schedule a nursery worker for children under five or for more information.

PARENTS OF ADDICTED LOVED ONES

A free educational support group for parents and families of addicted loved ones will be held each Tuesday at Hillcrest Baptist Church from 6:30-8 p.m. Parking on Watts St., in Room D108 (look for sign). For additional information, call (334) 379-9118. Participants must be 18 years old or over.

CEMETERY UPKEEP

Goodman Assembly of God asks for a yearly donation of $50 for the upkeep of the church cemetery.
