Brad Barton

At a special called meeting of the Enterprise City Schools Board of Education, Brad Barton was approved by the board to become the next principal at Coppinville Junior High School.

Barton is currently the assistant principal at Carroll High School in Ozark. Prior to joining Carroll, he taught and coached at New Brockton High School for six years and Zion Chapel School for five years.

Barton is originally from Opp where he graduated from high school. He has a master’s degree in Instructional Leadership and Administration from Troy University and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Huntingdon College.

“We’re excited and he’s excited about the opportunity before him,” said Enterprise Superintendent Zel Thomas. “He had a wonderful interview and blew everybody away. We’re expecting a lot out of him and I think he’s going to deliver from everything we’ve heard.”
