In honor and recognition of National Future Farmers of America Week, Daleville City Schools Superintendent Dr. Lisa Stamps signed a proclamation designating the week of Feb. 19-26 as National FFA Week in Daleville. “FFA and agricultural education provide a strong foundation for the youth of American and the future of food, fiber and natural resources system,” said Stamps. “The FFA motto—‘Learning to do, doing to learn, earning to live, living to serve’—gives direction and purpose to these students who take an active role in succeeding in agricultural education.” From left, are Stamps; Nic Duerst, vice president; Gabby Taylor, secretary; Bianca Elwell, reporter; Sydney Green, treasurer; Autumn Clemmons, president; and DHS FFA Advisor Franky Jackson.
