Dale County Schools' Career Tech groundbreaking

A ground breaking ceremony for the Dale County School Career Tech Center was held Tuesday, Feb. 8 at the site of the former National Guard Armory on Highway 231 in Ozark. “We are going to create opportunities for students to learn skills where they can make a good living right here in the Wiregrass and this part of the state,” DCS Superintendent Ben Baker. “We are excited about the opportunities that will be created here on this property.” Phase 1 of the project is set to open in the fall of 2022. Students from Ariton, Dale County and G.W.
