Bill Bacon Award

Harrison Gammill, left, and Quentin Hayes received the Bill Bacon Award at the Wildcat Football Awards ceremony on Feb. 10.

The Enterprise Wildcat football program recognized several players from the 2021 season with honors during a ceremony Thursday, Feb. 10 at the Enterprise High School Performing Arts Center. The coaching staff congratulated 26 seniors on their hard work and achievements and presented each one with a plaque.

Trophies were awarded in several categories. Mykel Johnson was named to the Dothan Eagle Super 12 Team and Amare Griffin and Marzavous Reed were honorable mentions.

Johnson was also named to first team all state, Harrison Gammill to second team all state and Griffin was an honorable mention all state by the Alabama Sports Writers Association.

The Bill Bacon Award was given to seniors Quentin Hayes and Gammill for their character and leadership on and off the football field.
