CDBG funds announced

A $272,900 Community Development Block Grant, to be used for Phase 3 of the city’s unsightly and unsafe vacant residential properties demolition project, was announced at the Enterprise City Council meeting Feb. 1. The grant was presented to the city by Gov. Kay Ivey and Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs Director Kenneth Boswell in a ceremony at the state capitol Jan. 20.
