The Enterprise High School boys golf team started the season off with a win in a seven team match at the Enterprise Country Club Feb. 17.
Nick Cook led the Cats with a 72 followed by Gibson Charlton who shot a 75 as well as Jon Ed Steed who also shot a 75, Jackson Bailey shot an 80 and Hunter McCarty shot an 82, which did not count. Cook was the medalist for the match.
Enterprise finished with an overall score of 302 to win the meet. Second place finishers were Rehobeth and the Enterprise JV team who tied with a 372 total. Prattville was fourth with a 377, Andalusia was fifth with a 390, Enterprise Junior High was sixth with a 428 and Central-Phenix City was seventh with a 450.
The Enterprise girls golf team participated in the Auburn Invitational and finished 10th out of 12 teams. Shaelyn Kennedy shot a 97 followed by Isabella Holtz with a 98, Hailey Rotenberry had a 99 and Meredith Black shot a 109.
