The Enterprise High School Track and Field team participated in the AHSAA Indoor State Championships Saturday, Feb. 5, and came away with seven all-state performances and set a school record in four events. Overall the girls finished 11th and the boys finished 14th.

In the 60 meter dash, Aniyak Kitt placed second with a season best 7.78. Jaziya Watkins finished 13th with a time of 8.16.

In the girls 800 meter run, Lauren Rodgers finished 11th with a time of 2:28.21 setting a new school record and Kamryn Wile finished 12th with a time of 2:31.19.

In the 4x200 meter relays, the girls team of Aniyah Kitt, Jaziya Watkins, Isabella Ming and A’Mirah Baldwin placed fourth with a school record 1:46.40.

In the 4x400 meter relay, the girls team of Abby Shipp, Isabella Ming, A’Mirah Baldwin and Kamryn Wile finished 15th with a time of 4:33.24.

In the 4x800 meter relays, the girls team of Emma McCrea, Madeline Nichols, Lauren Rodgers and Kamryn Wile placed seventh with a school record 10:17.62.

In the 60 meter hurdles, Amariia Leggett finished 16th with a time of 13.39.

In the girls high jump, Jamesha Howard placed eighth with a jump of 4’8”. In the girls long jump, Mariam Bolaji placed eighth with a season best jump of 15’8.5”. In the girls triple jump, Amariia Leggett finished 14th with a jump of 30’6.75” and in the girls shot put, Raven Jump finished 12th with a throw of 30’3”.

In the 4x200 meter relays, the boys team of Amir Rich, Dain Grimes, Max Faught and Tae Williams finished 13th with a season best 1:35.03.

In the 4x400 meter relays, the boys team of Isaac Alba, Jace Himes, Eran Foye and Brett Tessay finished 15th with a season best 3:40.19.

In the 4x800 meter relays, the boys team of Kristyan DeJesus, Bowden Michael, Brett Tessay and Jacob Tillery finished 11th with a season best 8:43.49.

In the 60 meter hurdles, Dain Grimes placed seventh with a school record 8.66.

In the boys high jump, Eran Foye finished third with a jump of 6’4”. Courtney Sanders finished eighth with a jump of 5’10”.

In the boys long jump, Dain Grimes finished ninth with a jump of 20’0’ and also finished 12th with a jump of 41’5” in the triple jump.

In the boys shot put, Xavier Henderson finished 14th with a throw of 38’11.5”.
