Parker Sessions steals a base for the Wildcats.

The Enterprise Wildcats earned a 10-7 victory over Providence Christian on March 9 and a 9-3 win over Charles Henderson March 11 at home.

Against Providence, Enterprise held a 6-4 lead going into the fifth inning when the Eagles scored three runs to take a 7-6 lead. In the bottom of the fifth inning, however, Enterprise scored three runs of its own along with another run in the sixth inning to secure the 10-7 win.

The Wildcats’ bats were blazing in the win over Providence as Enterprise earned 19 hits as a team. Jack Williams and Tristan Bartling led the way, each going 3-for-4 at the plate with one RBI and two runs. Payton Easterling, Bowen Beckham, Will Powell, Trey Cavanaugh, CJ Wilkerson and Noah Loy each had two hits, as well.

Easterling also scored two runs, while Noah Loy, Parker Sessions, Powell and Cavanaugh scored one run each.

Logan Fleming pitched four innings and struck out three batters, while giving up eight hits and six runs. Cole Hooper struck out three batters and gave up two hits with one run in two innings on the mound.

The Wildcats followed that up with a 9-3 win over Charles Henderson on March 11. Williams and Bartling again led the way at the plate going 2-for-3 with two runs. Bartling also had three RBIs. Powell also went 2-for-2 with an RBI and a run.

Owen Burrow struck out five batters and gave up three hits and a run in five innings on the mound, while Lane Danford struck out three batters and gave up two hits and two runs in two innings pitched. Williams also had two double plays defensively.

The Wildcats had their winning streak snapped, however, on the road against Pensacola-Catholic (Fla.) by a score of 12-6 on March 13.

Jack Williams and Sessions both went 2-for-3 at the plate Sessions scoring one run. Easterling and Powell went 2-for-4 each with Powell earning an RBI. Wilkerson, Loy, Fleming, Bartling and Dylan Gilbert scored one run each.

Williams struck out three batters, while giving up seven hits and 11 runs on the mound. He also gave up one homerun. Hooper pitched one and 1/3 innings with one strikeout along with giving up a hit and a run.
