I think a roundabout would reduce serious accidents but would increase fender benders. A stop light will require an adjustment period until normal users of this intersection become accustomed to stopping when traveling north or south. If a traffic light is chosen could we PLEASE have a “smart” light! Too often I stop at a traffic light and sit the entire time without a single car going through the intersection. At a minimum we need lights based on day of week and time of day but preferably in ground sensors that cause or change the light based on presence of a vehicle.
