Dear Editor:

To those that have not been vaccinated, I understand it is your choice and you believe you are not harming any one else. The truth is that when the hospitals and medical staffs get overtaxed with COVID patients, people with other ailments, especially those awaiting surgery, get put on hold.

So, you see, your decision does affect others and prolong their pain. I’m sure if you were having respiratory issues brought on by COVID, you’d help clog up the emergency room. If you don’t want to help yourself, don’t do it at someone else’s expense.
