John Barbaccia, 86, of Level Plains, passed away Feb. 20, 2022.
John lived a long and full life, rich in experiences and friendships made along the way. He was born March 26, 1935 in New Jersey and raised in the small town of Waterford, N.J. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force he eventually retired from civil service as a professional photographer.

John grew up playing baseball with his father and loved hunting and camping with family and friends. As a child, he was an altar boy at the local Catholic church which began his love of God and Christ and the Holy Spirit. As John moved to new locations, he would quickly reach out and become a member of a local church. His main passion was photography and through his civilian service he was brought to Fort Rucker. In addition to working on Fort Rucker, he also opened a photography studio in downtown Enterprise. In his later years, he enjoyed working with and helping his son, John, at his Herb and Spice Shop in Enterprise.
The family is holding a private service. Please contact his children for additional information.
