City, county offices closed for Veterans Day
All non-essential City of Enterprise offices and departments will be closed Thursday, Nov. 11, to observe Veterans Day.
There will be no garbage pickup on that day. The Thursday garbage route will be serviced on Wednesday, Nov. 10. All other routes will be picked up as usual.
All city offices will resume normal hours Friday, Nov. 12.

All county offices also will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 11 in observance of Veterans Day. The garbage schedule for the county will not change.
Farm-City Awards Banquet upcoming
The annual Coffee County Farm-City Awards Banquet is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 18, from 6-8 p.m. at the Coffee County Farm Center in New Brockton. Jeff Helms, communications director for the Alabama Farmers Federation, will be the guest speaker. Tickets are free. To reserve tickets, call (334) 894-5596 or (334) 894-5581 Ext. 3. Deadline for tickets is Monday, Nov. 15.
New Brockton announces date of Christmas Parade
The Town of New Brockton will host its annual Christmas Parade on Saturday, Dec. 4, at 11 a.m. The deadline to enter a unit in the parade is Friday, Nov. 24. DAV Chapter 9 van program resumes services
The DAV Chapter 9 van program has resumed services to run on Mondays and Fridays to Montgomery and Tuskegee with the same route and hours as in the past. Pick-up is at 5 a.m., at Hardee’s on Rucker Boulevard in Enterprise; and at 5:15 a.m., at Bojangle’s on Daleville Avenue at the intersection off Highway 134 in Daleville. The van will depart to travel back when the last veteran has been seen by a clinic, never later than noon. Lyster changes number for pharmacy fax
Lyster Army Health Clinic announces a change to the pharmacy’s fax number. The pharmacy’s new fax number 877-374-1656, replaces the current fax number in use to improve communication. The office phone number remains unchanged. Area medical professionals are encouraged to update contact information and utilize the new pharmacy fax number to submit faxed prescriptions. Effective April 1, the previous fax number will no longer be valid. Tricare beneficiaries should remind their healthcare provider of the change to ensure no interruption of prescription service.
