Christy Hixson is the Windham Elementary School Teacher of the Month for November. She was nominated by WES Principal Dr. Lynn Irwin and was recognized for the honor at the Daleville Board of Education meeting Nov. 18. Hixson is the school media specialist and “goes above and beyond to support the staff and students,” Irwin said in the nomination.
