Daleville City Schools Superintendent Dr. Lisa Stamps, left, and Daleville Board of Education President Steve Kirkland display a resolution that will be hung in each of the Daleville City Schools. At the DBOE meeting Nov. 18, the board unanimously passed a resolution in concurrence with Gov. Kay Ivey’s “Thank Alabama Teachers Week” proclamation. “Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic the teachers, administrators, bus drivers, cafeteria workers, custodians, support personnel and employees of the Daleville City School System has worked tirelessly and with great conviction to ensure that our city’s children could return to school safely while continuing to gain the knowledge and skills they need to be successful,” the resolution reads. “The teachers, administrators, support personnel and employees have had to adapt to the unprecedented circumstances and ever-changing state and health guidelines in order to provide the students of our city with reliable access to a high quality education.”
