• The German Coffee Club will meet for our Christmas luncheon Thursday, Dec. 2 at The  Landing on Fort Rucker at 9:30 am. COVID-19 precautions/social distancing will be taken and a mask is required. • The 2021 Daleville Christmas Parade and tree lighting are scheduled for Friday, Dec. 3. Parade entries for the Christmas Parade are being sought by the Daleville Area Chamber of Commerce. Parade entry is free but a completed registration must be returned to the chamber. Entry forms are available at the chamber office at 750 South Daleville Avenue or at the chamber website. • The Wiregrass-Enterprise Chapter of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) will hold its first Holiday Luncheon Social at noon on Wednesday, Dec. 8, at the Enterprise Country Club. All active and retired federal government employees and guests are invited to attend this special event. Cost is $18 per person payable at the door by cash or personal check. • The Fort Rucker Community Spouses Club is currently seeking donation items for the upcoming Christmas Craft Auction to be held Thursday, Dec. 9. Donations examples are gift baskets, Christmas theme items, handmade items, collectables, crafts and home décor. Please contact 931-247-4714 for a donation to be picked up. All of the proceeds go directly to the 2021-22 scholarships and grants programs.

• The Daleville High School Band will give a Holiday Concert on Sunday, Dec.12, at 3 p.m. in the DHS old gym. The public is invited. There is no charge to attend.

• Fort Rucker will host its inaugural Winterfest on Friday, Dec. 3, from 4:30 until 10 p.m. at the Fort Rucker Festival Fields. The Annual Christmas Tree Lighting begins at 5 p.m. to signal Santa Clause that Fort Rucker is ready for Christmas. There will be live entertainment by the Sonnenschein Express Band, ice skating, a life size Christmas card contest, Trees for Troops will be on-site, fire pits for S’mores, food, craft and merchandise vendors and a “special” visitor from the North Pole joining in the celebration.
