The Enterprise High School basketball team honored its senior class in fashion on Jan. 14 as both the Wildcats and Lady Cats dominated Greenville at home in a non-area game.

The Wildcats throttled Greenville 80-40 after taking a 12-5 lead in the first quarter and a staggering 42-18 lead at halftime. The Wildcats continued to pour it on the second half to secure the 40-point win. Enterprise shot a season-high 55 percent from the field, while holding Greenville to just 28 percent shooting. The Wildcats also outrebounded Greenville 39-17 and forced 16 turnovers.

Senior Elijah Terry scored 18 points, grabbed nine rebounds and dished four assists in the win, while fellow senior Quentin Hayes scored 14 points, grabbed eight rebounds and tossed four assists. Both Ken Mitchell and Tre Kemmerlin scored 10 points each, as well.

The Lady Cats also captured a 65-31 win over Greenville on Senior Night. Enterprise jumped out to a 17-6 lead in the first quarter and led 36-14 at halftime. The Lady Cats exploded to outscore Greenville 21-9 in the third quarter and led 57-23 going into the final period before capturing the 65-31 win. In the past three games, the Lady Cats have been averaging 58 points per game. Enterprise was led by Dashia Nelson’s 25 points, while Joye Anderson added 13 points and Jaida Gosha added 10 points.

Enterprise will host Prattville on Jan. 21 in an area matchup.
