Enterprise Family YMCA will celebrate its 49th Anniversary on Saturday, April 27, with the 41st Annual Y-Day event.

Both Enterprise YMCA and the general public are invited to enjoy the activities at Y-Day as the YMCA holds its annual fundraiser.

There will be a 5K and one-mile run, soccer tournament, swimming, martial arts demonstrations and games and entertainment throughout the day.

The Y-Day 1-Mile and 5K Run will begin with the one-mile run at 8:15 a.m. and continue with the 5K run at 8:30 a.m. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. for both events and the fee is $15 for each event to enter.

The YMCA Soccer League will play in the Y-Day Soccer Tournament starting at 8 a.m. and finishing up at 4 p.m.

The YMCA pool will be open from 1 until 2:30 p.m. for swimming and the YMCA Fitness Center will also be open from 8 until 11 a.m.

There will be a Tai-Chi exhibition at 10 a.m. and the Harrand Creek Harmonies will perform at 10:15 a.m. The Rucker Rhythms perform at 10:30 a.m. followed by the Pinedale Pizzazz at 10:45 a.m.

There will be a YMCA Fitness Exhibition at 11:15 a.m. followed by a taekwondo exhibition at 11:30 a.m.

The Enterprise State Entertainers will perform at noon followed by Chris Duke and Company performing at 12:30 p.m.

A lunch will take part from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. with barbecue sandwiches, chips, cookies and a drink for $7 per meal.

There will also be a “dunkin’ booth,” moon walk, Sno Cones, yard games and a Fire Safety House, as well.

All events take place at the Enterprise YMCA on Highway 27 in Enterprise on Saturday, April 27.
