Enterprise senior volleyball player Hannah Chang signed her letter-of-intent on Nov. 17 to continue her athletic and academic career next season with the Georgia College Bobcats in Midgeville, Ga.
Chang selected Georgia College over offers from other schools like the University of Dallas, Montreat College and Dominican College.
“I really love the campus and I really love the players and coaches,” Chang said of Georgia College. “Everything about it was perfect and what I was looking for in a college. It was really homey there.”
Chang helped lead the Lady Cats to an Area Championship and an appearance in the Class 7A Elite 8 this season. During her senior campaign she totaled 194 kills, 68 blocks and 11 digs. During her three-year varsity career she totaled 470 kills at Enterprise.
Chang said that Enterprise’s small but tight senior class helped her throughout her career.
“They’re my best friends,” Chang emphasized. “I love my senior class. The seniors this year have helped me get through so much and we’ve been through so much opposition this year.
“I wouldn’t have rather gone through that with any other group. That just set up this team this year to be really close and I love them so much.”
Chang said she plans to major in nursing at Georgia College and her focus will be on being the best volleyball player and student she can be.
“I want to make sure that I succeed in volleyball and do the best I can,” she said. “I hope I’m an honor roll student in college and go on to nursing school later on, too.”
