The Wiregrass-Enterprise Chapter 1807, National Active and Retired Federal Employees, will hold its monthly luncheon program at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, at the Enterprise Country Club. The next meeting for the DAV Wiregrass Chapter 99 will be held on Thursday, Nov. 18, at 6 p.m. in the New Brockton Senior Center. This will be the chapter’s holiday meal for the holiday season. The main course for the meal will be provided by the chapter. Everyone is asked to bring a covered side dish. All active duty military and veterans are invited. The Wiregrass-Enterprise Chapter of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) will hold its first Holiday Luncheon Social at noon on Wednesday, Dec. 8, at the Enterprise Country Club. All active and retired federal government employees and guests are invited to attend this special event. Cost is $18 per person payable at the door by cash or personal check. The Enterprise Senior Citizens Center is for anyone 60 years of age or older. There is no fee to participate in the senior center program but donations are welcomed. Art classes are offered every Tuesday from 8 until 10 a.m., and 10 a.m. until noon. Sewing classes are held on Wednesdays from 9 a.m. until noon. Chair exercise classes are held on Thursdays beginning at 10 a.m. Classes meet at 2401 Neil Metcalf Road (U.S. Highway 167 North). The first Saturday of every month the Weevil City Cruisers will have a cruise-in at Milky Moos from 5-8 p.m.
