Friends of Army Aviation and Troy University are hosting the 2021 Armed Forces Day Celebration on May 15 at the Troy Dothan campus. beginning at 9 a.m. to honor active duty personnel in all military branches as well as those who have served. To conclude the program, the Round Canopy Parachute Team - USA will be jumping from a UH-1H Huey helicopter. There will be Vietnam Era Reenactors as well as the Traveling Army Aviation Museum. There will be food and rides offered in the UH-1H Huey for $50 per person. The Republican Women of Coffee County will meet Wednesday, May 19, at 11 a.m., at the Enterprise Country Club. The program will be a forum on the pros and cons of gambling in Alabama. Social time begins at 11 a.m. followed by an optional $12 lunch at 11:30 a.m. The program begins at approximately noon. Everyone is invited, but reservations are required. There will be a VVA Chapter 373 meeting on Saturday, May 22, at 9 a.m. at the Clayhatchee Community House. State COVID-19 rules will be followed.

Enterprise State Community College will have Camp Weevil 2021, a summer day camp for grades 2-7, on June 21-24 from 1-4 p.m. each day. Cost is $120 per child. Registration is now underway by visiting escc.edu/campweevil and will end June 4.
The Enterprise Senior Citizens Center is for anyone 60 years of age or older. There is no fee to participate in the senior center program but donations are welcomed. Art classes are offered every Tuesday from 8 until 10 a.m., and 10 a.m. until noon. A “Walk in the Park” (with weather permitting) will meet May 14 at 9:30 a.m., at Johnny Henderson Park. Chair exercise classes will be offered May 20 at 9:30 a.m. Yoga chair exercise classes will be offered May 27 at 9:30 a.m. “Free Rock Painting Class”will be May 28 at 9 a.m. All regular classes meet at 2401 Neil Metcalf Road (U.S. Highway 167 North).
