The Daleville Lady Hawks fell behind quickly to Wicksburg on April 11 and eventually lost 16-0 after the Lady Panthers scored 11 runs in the top of the third inning and the game was called when Daleville failed to score in the bottom of the inning.
Alissa Haris pitched a complete game giving up 16 runs on 16 hits.
Haley Jones went 1-for 2, Lashunddraw Straw went 1-for-1 and Haris went 1-for-1.
Daleville had three hits and six errors while leaving two on base. Wicksburg had 16 hits and no errors while leaving three on base.
Samson 13, Daleville 3
The Samson Lady Tigers scored four run in the first three innings before the Lady Hawks could get on the scoreboard with a run in the top of the fourth.
Samson then blew the game open in the bottom of the fourth plating six runs and defeated Daleville 13-3 on April 14. The Lady Hawks scored two more runs in the top of the fifth but the deficit was too much for Daleville to overcome.
Rosalee Lascano started on the mound for Daleville pitching four innings and giving up 10 runs off 12 hits with four strikeouts. Haris came on in relief to pitch the final one and one-third innings giving up three runs on seven hits with one strikeout.
Jones went 1-for-3 scoring one run, Katie Harry went 1-for-3 scoring one run and 1 RBI, Haris went 2-for-2 with a double and 1 RBI, Lascano went 1-for-3 with 1 RBI and Camry Carr went 1-for-3.
Daleville had six hits, no errors and left six on base. Samson had 19 hits, no errors and left seven on base.
