DHS track team participates in Charles Henderson meet

The Daleville track and field team participated in the Charles Henderson Meet 2 on April 8 and finished 13th tied with Park Crossing High School with a score of 6.

In the girls 100-meter dash, Jamariayna Lewis finished 21st in 14.05 and Laterria Adams finished 46th in 15.22

In the girls 200-meter dash, Lewis finished 20th in 31.90.

In the girls discus throw, Ta’miyah Johnson finished third with a throw of 80’8”.

In the girls shot put, Johnson finished 12th with a throw of 25’6”.

In the boys 100-meter dash, Omarion Pinckney finished 51st in 12.79, Talageon King finished 65th in 13.51 and Daniel Blake finished 66th in 13.90.

In the boys 200-meter dash, Jonathan Lett finished 24th in 25.87, Pinckney finished 25th in 26.27 and Blake finished 36th in 29.29.

In the boys 400-meter dash, Amaury Gomez finished 14th in 58.55, Bryan Beckwith finished 17th in 58.77, Lett finished 20th in 59.65 and Bryan Glawson finished 43rd in 1:06.47.

In the boys 800-meter dash, Mason Lafferty finished 25th in 2:49.39, Mark Romero finished 33rd in 3:03.27, Christian Mckeithen finished 34th in 3:04.95 and Juliann Wierenga finished 36th in 3:13.91.

In the boys 1600, Jaylin Smith finished ninth in 5:21.69, Lafferty finished 16th in 6:00.81 and Romero finished 21st in 6:25.32.

In the boys 110-meter hurdles, Gomez finished 12th in 21.84.

In the boys long jump, Pinckney finished 28th with a jump of 16’4” and Lett finished 34th with a 14’5”.

In the boys discus throw, Timothey Waller finished 10th with a throw of 99’5”, Jeremiah Moore finished 15th with a 90’0”, Caden Elmore finished 20th with a 78’11” and Deauntae Brantley finished 26th with a 68’10”.

In the boys shot put, Waller finished third with a throw of 39’9 ½”, Moore finished 10th with a 37’6”, Zacory Culver finished 23rd with a 34’1/2” and Tony Ross finished 47th with a 23’5 ½”.
