Dear Editor:
Tuesday the 14th I went to the drugstore and saw a circus was set up which angered me with this virus back on the rise. When I got home I called the mayor’s office. A woman answered the phone and I asked if the city was so greedy and did not care about it’s citizens that it would allow that? She said they were not greedy and the city council set it up and all state laws etc., were being followed.
The circus has a three year contract. No one is forced to go. What comes to my mind is the people that went to the COVID party were not forced to go either. The people in Walmart and other places that don’t wear masks are not forced.
Wearing masks is a huge part of not getting the virus. Who attends the circus...little kids and yes, they get the virus. I cannot believe the city council would allow this to go on. I cannot believe any parent or anyone else would go up there. Anyone want the virus? It’s free.
Maybe death comes with it or even permanent disability. Maybe the president is part of the city council. He does nothing either. I asked for the mayor to call me. This is outrageous.
