Enterprise State Community College recently announced Felisha Ford as its new Director of Counseling.

Ford has served in several capacities at ESCC over the last seven years including the Director of Student Support Services.

“I am pleased to have Dr. Ford join our team as the Director of Counseling,” said Nancy W. Chandler, ESCC President. “Her expertise in this field is outstanding and her experience working with our students makes her an important part of the ESCC family, as well as, a perfect fit for the admissions area of our school. I am certain that the addition of Dr. Ford will have a lasting impact on the lives of those who attend ESCC for their academic careers.”

Ford began her counseling career as a Teen Parents Program coordinator with Coffee County Family Services in Enterprise.

She also served as the educational advisor for CCFS, where she worked with middle and high school students through the Southeast Alabama Education Outreach Center.

“We are thrilled to have Dr. Ford in this position,” said Dr. Jeffrey H. Coats, Dean of Students. “It is critical to have someone with her professional proficiency available for our students, especially with the many issues that they may encounter during this time in their lives.”

Ford received a Bachelor of Art in Psychology from Alabama A & M University, Masters in Psychology from Troy University’s Dothan campus and PHD in Psychology from Capella University.

Ford’s office is located on the Enterprise campus but she serves as director for all state wide locations.
