A man died in an early morning accident in Enterprise on Saturday, Aug. 18.
Coffee County Coroner Robert Preachers said the driver, a black male, in the single vehicle accident that occurred on Daleville Avenue this morning appeared to have lost control of the vehicle.
The vehicle hit a tree and was torn into two pieces, he said.
He said first responders were notified around 2:30 a.m. and he was notified around 4 a.m.
Preachers identified the deceased as Michael Isaac Townsend, 36.
