Alabama Governor Kay Ivey has closed on-premise consumption for bars, breweries and restaurants effective at 5 p.m. Thursday, March 19. Here is a list of local businesses and events that have altered their hours or closed. • The Enterprise Chamber of Commerce has cancelled the following events: Business After Hours at The Craft today, Fort Rucker Newcomers Friday morning and the Enterprise Day of Service Saturday. The Military and Veteran Affairs JROTC Breakfast Awards at PoFolks has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 22 at 7:30 a.m. The Tourism and Convention meeting has been rescheduled for Thursday, April 30 at 2 p.m.
• Sam Boswell Honda Buick GMC has closed its showroom until March 30. Sales associates will be working remotely by phone and email. The service department will be open until 4 p.m. Saturday, March 21. Normal operations are scheduled to resume March 30.
• The Christian Mission administrative office hours are now 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Assistance will be given by appointment only. Assessment is being waived for walk-up meals. Clients can come to the kitchen door and receive a to go plate from 7:30-7:45 a.m., 11-11:30 a.m. and 4-4:30 p.m. Seniors who are in need of food can call the office at (334) 393-2607.
• The Enterprise Career Center on Boll Weevil Circle is closed to the public until further notice. Those in need of services will still be able to receive them by telephone at (334) 347-0044 or by email correspondence at [email protected]. Job search services and many other resources are available for self-service at www.joblink.alabama.gov
• The Enterprise Chapter of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees has cancelled its lunch program on March 26.
• Piney Woods Arts Festival scheduled for April 4 and 5 has been cancelled.
