A “drive by, honk and wave” party to celebrate Tinnie Edward’s 90th birthday was held in front of her East Grubbs Street home Feb. 25. Honking greetings to Edwards were friends, family and former co-workers of the woman who worked at the Enterprise City Hall in custodial services for 25 years and five months. Seated, Edwards, wearing her birthday crown, hugs great-grandson Jashua Kirkland. In the second row, from left, are Kaziah Britt, Edward’s great granddaughter; Kuterah Edwards, Edward’s granddaughter who is holding the 90-year-old’s great granddaughter, Toni Pouncey; and Edward’s daughter Yvonne Amos. In back, from left, are Edward’s niece Monica Reynolds, great grandson Tyree Brown and daughter Ann McKenzie.
