Windham Elementary School kindergarten teacher Laura Stratton was named Teacher of the Month for March 2022 at the Daleville Board of Education meeting March 16. “She has a heart for kids like no other, she is a team player with a capital ‘T,’ goes above and beyond and is a leader in your kindergarten teaching team,” said WES Principal Carrie Heninger. Daleville City Schools Superintendent Dr. Lisa Stamps agreed. “I have substituted in her classroom and I will just say that is a well-oiled machine,” Stamps said. “It was a joy and a pleasure to be with her students.” From left, are Stamps, Stratton and Heninger.
