A new business is coming to Daleville.
Daleville Mayor Jayme Stayton announced Monday, May 11, that a Dollar Tree Store is coming to the old Grocery Store Plaza on Old Highway 134.
Dollar Tree Inc. is an American chain of discount variety stores that sells items for $1 or less.
“We’ve worked hard for two and a half years to make this happen,” Stayton said in making the economic development announcement. “Now it’s official.”
Construction has already begun at the site of the former Piggly Wiggly building, Stayton said. “More details on a Grand Opening will be announced as soon as possible.”
