According to a report from WBRC News in Birmingham, Alabama State Superintendent Dr. Eric Mackey has confirmed that online classes will be available for all students statewide this fall.

Mackey said that parents will have the choice between whether their child participates in class in person or online beginning this fall.

Earlier in the day Mackey had said state officials were working on an option for virtual learning in the fall for parents of children who prefer that option.

No other information is available at this time.
