Basketball season is just around the corner and the Enterprise Wildcats and Lady Cats have released the official schedule for the upcoming 2020-2021 season.
The varsity boys will open the season on the road against Charles Henderson on Nov. 20 before traveling to Thompson for the Thompson Thanksgiving Tournament Nov. 23-25.
The Wildcats rematch Charles Henderson, in Wildcat Arena, for the 2020 home opener on Nov. 30 before beginning a long road trip, starting on Dec. 1 against Carroll.
Enterprise will travel to Mountain Brook on Dec. 4 and face Eufaula on Dec. 8 before playing in the Daleville Christmas Tournament Dec. 10-12.
The Wildcats head back home on Dec. 14 to face former area rival R.E. Lee and will continue tournament action in the Florala Christmas Tournament Dec. 17-19. Enterprise hosts Georgiana on Dec. 21 and then heads to Hoover for the Big Orange Classic Dec. 28-30.
This will be the first time in a decade that the Wildcats won’t compete in the Downtown Dothan Hoops Classic over Christmas break.
As the 2021 portion of the schedule begins so does area play with Enterprise hosting Jeff Davis on Jan. 5. The Wildcats face Dothan on the road on Jan. 8 and Jeff Davis on the road Jan. 12. The Wildcats will host Prattville and Dothan on Jan. 15 and Jan. 19 in back-to-back area games at home. The area portion of the schedule closes on the road against Prattville on Jan. 22.
Enterprise will then host Eufaula on Jan. 26, Greenville on Jan. 29 and Carroll on Feb. 2 for Senior Night to close out the Cats’ home schedule. Enterprise will close out the regular season on the road against R.E. Lee on Feb. 8 before the area tournament begins Feb. 9.
The Lady Cats will open up at home against Elba on Nov. 12 before traveling to Charles Henderson on Nov. 20 and hosting Charles Henderson on Nov. 30
The Lady Cats will head to Carroll on Dec. 1 and then compete in the Geneva County Tournament on Dec. 3-7 before travelling to Bay High School (Fla.) on Dec. 10
On Dec. 15-19 the Lady Cats will compete in a tournament in Dothan and then will travel to Eufaula for another tournament appearance Dec. 21-23.
The girls travel to Northridge on Jan. 2 before area play begins at home against Jeff Davis on Jan. 5. The Lady Cats travel to Dothan on Jan. 8 and Jeff Davis on Jan. 12. On Jan. 15 the Lady Cats will host Prattville before hosting Dothan on Jan. 19. The area portion of the schedule closes Jan. 22 on the road against Prattville.
The Lady Cats host Fort Walton (Fla.) on Jan. 23, Eufaula on Jan. 26, Greenville on Jan. 29 and Samson on Feb. 1. The Lady Cats will also host Senior Night against Carroll on Feb. 2 before facing former area rival R.E. Lee on the road on Feb. 4. The Area Tournament will begin Feb. 9.
