Dauphin Junior High’s seventh grade volleyball team traveled to Montgomery on Sept. 14 to compete in the Alabama Christian Academy Junior High Tournament and came away with a win.
The Lady Fins earned 2-0 sweeps of Montgomery Catholic and Prattville Christian before taking a game off St. James 2-1 and Prattville Christian 2-1 in the championship game.
“I just wanted them to have a tournament and I felt like they could at least give the other teams a good game,” Dauphin coach Patsy Holland said. “I was impressed with our play.”
