PUBLIC NOTICE

ORDINANCE 12-21-21

AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING 

THE ENTERPRISE CITY COUNCIL TO DEED LAND

WHEREAS, the City of Enterprise owns the property as described below:

WHEREAS, Eugene and Charlene Goolsby has approached the City about purchasing said property;

WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the subject property is not needed for public or municipal purposes and is agreeable to sell the subject property to Eugene and Charlene Goolsby.  

THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:

1. For the sum of $11,300.00, which the City Council finds is adequate consideration, the City Council of the City of Enterprise directs the sale of the following described property to Eugene and Charlene Goolsby and further directs and empowers the Mayor to execute a deed to Eugene and Charlene Goolsby, under terms and conditions as he deems necessary, in consultation with the City Attorney, for said property:  
   
   Lots 8 and 15, Block B, Airport Subdivision in the City of Enterprise, Coffee County
   
   
2. If any section, sentence, clause, phrase, or part of this ordinance is for any reason declared to be invalid by the valid judgment or decree of a court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect any remaining sections, sentences, clauses, phrases, or parts of this ordinance.
   
   
3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval by the City Council, or upon its otherwise becoming law but shall nevertheless be published as required by law.
