FIRST NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ORDINANCE 11-02-21
First public notice is hereby published in The Southeast Sun, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Enterprise, Coffee County, Alabama, that pursuant to Title 11-52-77, Code of Alabama, 1975, as amended, the City Council of the City of Enterprise, at a regular meeting at 6:00 p.m., December 7, 2021, at City Hall, 501 South Main Street, will consider for adoption Ordinance 11-02-21 which proposes to amend the applicable Zoning Ordinance(s) as amended and the Zoning Map of the City of Enterprise.
A public hearing will be held by said City Council of the City of Enterprise at the aforesaid time and place before passage and adoption of said ordinance when at that time, all persons who desire shall have an opportunity of being heard in opposition to or in favor of said ordinance.
The proposed ordinance is as set out in its entirety in this notice.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ENTERPRISE, ALABAMA as follows:
Upon public notice and hearings as required by law, and following recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of Enterprise, Alabama, previous Zoning Ordinance(s) and the Zoning Map of the City of Enterprise, Alabama, adopted herein and on file in the Office of the City Clerk and the Office of the City Engineering Department, City of Enterprise, is hereby amended and, as amended, shall reflect the following:
A lot or parcel belonging to James Snider being located in the City of Enterprise, Coffee County, Alabama and being further described as follows:
A PARCEL OF LAND SITUATED IN THE SOUTH ½ OF THE SE ¼ OF SECTION 15, TOWNSHIP
4 NORTH, RANGE 22 EAST, COFFEE COUNTY, ALABAMA AND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS.
COMMENCING AT A ½” REBAR #673 MARKING THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF LOT 1, BLOCK A, EMPIRE PLACE, PLAT BOOK 3, PAGE 315, COFFEE COUNTY, ALABAMA; THENCE S87°58’17”E A DISTANCE OF 124.81 FEET TO A ½” REBAR #0717; THENCE S88°25’31”E A DISTANCE OF 10.00 FEET TO A POINT IN A TREE AND THE POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE N02°01’48”E A DISTANCE OF 367.71 FEET TO A ½” REBAR (ILLEGIBLE) AND THE SOUTH RIGHT OF WAY OF COPPINVILLE ROAD; THENCE ALONG SAID SOUTH RIGHT OF WAY N89°04’45”E A DISTANCE OF 172.72 FEET TO A ½” REBAR (ILLEGIBLE); THENCE DEPARTING SAID SOUTH RIGHT OF WAY S13°28’12”W A DISTANCE OF 383.45 FEET TO A ½” REBAR #1067; THENCE N88°25’31”W A DISTANCE OF 96.44 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING. SAID PARCEL CONTAINS 1.143 ACRES, MORE OR LESS.
Said property, set out in detail in the records of the Planning Commission and described by Map A (R-85, Residential District) is amended and, as amended shall be zoned and described by Map B (B-3, Highway Commercial District) which is attached hereto and is a permanent part of the Zoning Ordinance and Map.
